Cognitive Landscape Research Programme (CLRP)

The open, implementation-independent foundation for researching cognitive diversity as a continuous landscape—not software documentation, but the programme constitution that instruments and libraries reference.

What CLRP is

CLRP defines what the programme seeks to accomplish, which principles it follows, how evidence is judged, and how implementations (such as PCMS and CLM) relate to the science—without embedding API or UI details.

Think of it as something between an RFC series, an open research programme, and a design constitution. The latest citable release is clrp-v2026.2 (first snapshot: clrp-v2026.1).

What CLRP is not

  • Not the PCMS user manual or question banks
  • Not the CLM TypeScript API reference
  • Not a clinical or diagnostic certification scheme

Implementations in this ecosystem

PCMS and CLM reference CLRP for ethics and validation framing. They remain separate repositories with their own technical documentation.
